Terms and Conditions for Clients

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between CRTV (located in Amsterdam, Netherlands) and any individual or business engaging services through CRTV (“Client”). By booking services via CRTV, the Client agrees to be bound by the following terms.

Services

Clients may contract services including videography, photography, and other creative solutions provided by CRTV’s network of independent creatives. The scope, timeline, and deliverables will be communicated prior to commencement of work.

Payment and Pre-Payment

  • All services require pre-payment before work begins. Only once initial payment is received will CRTV confirm and allocate creatives to a project.
  • Full payment of the agreed fee must be made prior to delivery of final deliverables. No work will be released until the balance has been paid in full.
  • Invoices must be settled within the timeframe specified (typically 7 calendar days unless agreed otherwise). Late or non-payment may delay or cancel service delivery.

Expenses

Any third-party or additional costs related to the project (such as studio rentals, travel fees, or specialised equipment) will be pre-approved in writing and added to the client’s invoice. CRTV ensures transparency in all project-related expense reporting.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide timely communication, accurate project briefs, and necessary approvals to enable smooth delivery of services.
  • Supply any required assets (e.g., brand materials, product samples, or information) within agreed timeframes. Delays caused by incomplete information may impact delivery schedules.

Respect and Conduct

CRTV enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy on disrespect and harassment.

  • Clients must treat all creatives with professionalism and respect at all times.
  • Any form of abuse, harassment, or discrimination (verbal, written, or physical) towards CRTV staff or creatives will result in immediate suspension or termination of services, without refund. CRTV reserves the right to pursue legal remedies in severe cases.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
  • Pre-payments are non-refundable, but CRTV may, at its discretion, offer partial credit toward future services if cancellation occurs before substantial work has been undertaken.
  • Refunds will not be issued after work has started or deliverables are in progress.

Ownership of Work Product

  • Ownership of final creative deliverables transfers to the Client only once full payment has been received.
  • CRTV and its creatives retain the right to use work, in part or in full, for promotional and portfolio purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing before project commencement.

Confidentiality

Any information shared by the Client for project purposes (e.g., marketing plans, product blueprints, or internal strategies) will be treated as confidential. CRTV and its creatives will not disclose or use client information outside the agreed project scope.

Liability and Damages

  • Clients are responsible for any damage to property, equipment, or venues caused by them, their staff, or third parties brought into the project.
  • The Client shall reimburse CRTV or the Creative for the full cost of repair or replacement at market value.
  • If damage results in delays, loss of work, or cancellation, CRTV reserves the right to seek compensation for related losses.
  • Intentional damage, negligence, or refusal to cover damages may lead to legal action and full recovery of costs, including attorney fees.

Venue and Property Responsibility

  • When services are delivered at studios, rented facilities, or third-party venues, the Client is fully responsible for the condition and costs of the space.
  • The Client assumes liability for any damages caused to the venue during the project by themselves, their staff, participants, or guests.
  • CRTV and its creatives accept no responsibility for costs associated with venue damage, property loss, or venue policy breaches.
  • Clients must ensure all necessary venue permissions, contracts, and insurances are in place before production/shoots commence.

Disputes

In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith discussion and mediation. If resolution is not possible, CRTV reserves the right to suspend services until the matter is resolved.

General Terms

  • This Agreement is binding upon CRTV and the Client upon booking services.
  • Amendments must be in writing and agreed to by both parties.
  • Notices may be delivered by email or in writing.
  • If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder still applies in full.
  • This document, together with any written agreements per project, constitutes the entire understanding between CRTV and the Client.
